Schneider Electric, the leading provider for the digital transformation of energy management and automation, is further expanding its strategic partnership with Terra Cloud (Wortmann AG). The company, based in Hüllhorst near Hanover, is one of the most important regional colocation data center operators in Germany and, together with Schneider Electric, would like to further accelerate its commitment to sustainable data centers.

To optimize energy efficiency across the entire campus, Terra Cloud uses a turnkey DCIM solution from Schneider Electric’s EcoStruxure for Data Centers portfolio. As part of its Net Zero strategy, Terra Cloud is also planning a complete switch to renewable energies from onshore wind power and photovoltaics (PV). In the future, the advantages of rack-based liquid cooling are to be tested in a new proof of concept.
